Extra Thick Gold Plating
In our gold-plated pieces, the gold is 10x thicker (1 to 2.5μm) compared to the average affordable jewelry store in the Philippines.
18K Gold Vermeil
Gold vermeil typically means 2.5 microns of gold plating over sterling silver. At Penny Pairs, we use 2.5 microns of gold plating in all our gold vermeil pieces.
We use cultured, ethically-farmed pearls in our jewelry. No two pearls are exactly alike, so you get a unique piece each time.
Our opals are grown in a lab, meaning they have the same composition, properties, and appearance as natural opals - but aren’t taken from the earth.
Most of our products use cubic zirconia, an ethical, more affordable alternative to diamonds.
Lab grown diamonds are chemically and physically identical to natural diamonds, without the environmental impact of traditional mining.
